Ann-Marie is a passionate aesthetic nurse and solo clinic owner whose journey into aesthetics is rooted in resilience, lifelong learning, and a genuine desire to offer treatments that truly benefit her clients.
A journey shaped by growth and determination
Ann-Marie began her aesthetics journey around five years ago, during the Covid-19 pandemic. What started as online learning in skin therapy quickly evolved into advanced skin treatments and, within a year, medical aesthetics.
Since then, she’s continued to invest heavily in her education and now practises at an advanced level, offering a wide range of treatments.
“I’ve always had this ethos that if a client asks me for something five times, I’ll go and learn how to do it.”
She explains.
That mindset has shaped a clinic offering that’s both broad and highly personalised.
Alongside aesthetics, Ann-Marie brings a wealth of clinical experience. She’s a trained adult nurse, midwife, and specialist public health nurse – and she’s not done yet.
This month, she begins her prescribing qualification, continuing her commitment to safe, ethical practice.
From life-changing events to business ownership
Ann-Marie is a solo practitioner and proud business owner. Her inspiration to step fully into aesthetics followed a life-changing heart attack – which prompted her to reassess her priorities and build something of her own.
With a strong business influence from her father, who ran his own company, Ann-Marie has always had an entrepreneurial streak.
However, like many practitioners, the biggest challenge hasn’t been clinical work – it’s been technology.
“When I went to school, we didn’t have computers or mobile phones.”
She says.
Despite that, she’s embraced digital systems to future-proof her clinic and support her growing client base.
A clinic focused on regenerative results
Ann-Marie’s clinic is known for its results-driven approach and emphasis on skin health.
She offers curated skincare packages including Vitamin C, SPF, cleanser, hydrating moisturiser and eye gel – particularly popular with her mature client base.
Her most in-demand treatments right now are regenerative injectables, especially polynucleotides, reflecting a wider shift towards natural, longer-lasting results.
“You can’t really have one without the other.”
She explains.
“Good injectables work best when the skin is healthy too.”

Advice for other practitioners
Ann-Marie doesn’t hesitate when asked what she’d say to someone considering ANS:

She acknowledges that change can feel daunting, especially when it comes to transferring systems – but believes the long-term benefits far outweigh the short-term effort.
“My husband always asks what I’m doing when I’m on it, and I tell him I’m building my empire,”
She laughs.
